Fernando Merino Martínez is a Transport Consultant in the World Bank's Transport Global Practice, based in Buenos Aires. He has several years of experience in the preparation and implementation of multiple projects aimed at improving connectivity and providing safe, clean, and reliable transportation to vulnerable communities in Argentina and Paraguay, with the goal of enhancing their access to jobs and opportunities, and contributing to more sustainable mobility. Fernando holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cantabria (Spain) and a Master’s degree in Transport Engineering from École des Ponts ParisTech (France).
