Fikayo Akeredolu is a PhD candidate in Politics at the University of Oxford, where she researches the political economy of energy transitions in resource-rich states, with a focus on Nigeria. She recently completed a World Bank Africa Fellowship with the Climate Finance Mobilization Unit, contributing to global programs like ISFL. Before pursuing her doctorate, Fikayo worked across China, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in finance and technology, leading initiatives on data platforms, financial innovation, and capital market reform. Her current work explores how states mobilize climate finance, implement subsidy reforms, and navigate global partnerships.
