Francisco Jeria is a Disaster Risk Management (DRM) and Public Investment specialist consultant currently working in the Latin America and the Caribbean region for the World Bank. He has experience in the development and implementation of technical assistance and investment projects in resilience, emergency recovery and disaster risk financing with countries in Central America and regional entities. In addition, he works as an associate researcher for the Institute for Disaster Resiliency ITREND in Chile. He holds a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering and a Master's in International Development Policy from Duke University, USA.
