François FAYE has 23 years of experience in the field of education: primary school teacher (8 years), high school French teacher (3 years) and elementary school inspector (13 years). He has held the positions of school principal, deputy inspector of the academy, project coordinator at the regional level, trainer at the CRFPE and coordinator of examinations and competitions. He has also been the professional development coordinator for teachers in the Reading for All Program (USAID/Chemonics International). Currently, he is in charge of the Cooperation and Partnership Division at the Directorate of Planning and Educational Reform at the Ministry of Education. He holds a DEA in 20th century French literature and a Master's degree in educational sciences. He is co-author of the study "Education and Early Childhood Care (ECCE) in Senegal. What are the actors' perceptions of management and training?" with an ERNWACA grant in 2010.
