Frank van Lerven is the Institutional Partner and Helsinki Principle 2 workstream coordinator for the Coalition of Finance Minister for Climate Action, where the World Bank serves as Secretariat. Frank also leads the Debt Sustainability thematic hub for the World Bank’s capacity building program for Finance Ministries – the ‘Coalition for Capacity on Climate Action’ (C3A). Before joining the Bank, Frank was Senior Economist and Programme Lead of Macro-Economics for the UK think tank the ‘New Economics Foundation’ (NEF). His work has been published in the Journal of Ecological Economics, Socio-Economic Review, Cambridge Journal of Economics, and the Review of European Economic Policy. Frank previously worked at the UNDP and then went on to help start-up two prominent European think tanks aimed at reforming monetary and fiscal policy.
