Frederic Cochinard joined the Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS) team in 2021 as a Consultant in Data Analysis. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked as a freelancer Research Assistant for Havard, Yale, Stanford, UPenn and New York University at Abu Dhabi. He is a former Senior Research Associate for IPA in Uganda and JPAL Africa. He has worked on impact evaluations in several African countries covering education, gender and political empowerment and land transfer policy implementation. He received his B.A in Economics and Social Science from the University of Paris and his M.A in Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain.
