Gabriel Tourek

Gabriel Tourek is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. He is a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and an affiliate of the Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), Evidence in Governance in Politics (EGAP), and the Behavioral Economics Design Initiative (BEDI).

Gabriel received his PhD from Harvard University and was a Post-Doctoral Associate with the J-PAL Digital Identification and Finance Initiative. He has worked at Innovations for Poverty Action, Evidence for Policy Design, and the World Bank.
