Gabriele Lattanzio is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Graduate School of Business of the Nazarbayev University. He was previously affiliated to Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) as a Senior Lecturer and to the Southern Methodist University (Dallas, USA) as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He was awarded a BSc in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) in 2013, a MSc in International Management with a focus in Energy Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (Bergen, Norway) in 2015, and he gained his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Oklahoma in 2019. His research interests encompass the area of corporate finance and law and economics, with a particular focus on the market for corporate control and the pricing of non-financial risks (i.e., environmental liabilities, cybersecurity risk). His papers have been published in top international peer reviewed journals including the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and the Emerging Markets Review, and he is in the top 10% authors on Social Science Research Network (SSRN) by total new downloads within the last 12 months.
