Gaelle Samaha is a Transport Consultant based in Beirut, Lebanon. She joined the World Bank in February 2020 and has since been involved in the transport portfolio of Lebanon and Jordan. Passionate about transport and mobility, Gaelle has seven years of experience in the sector, working with clients in the public and private sectors in the UK and the Middle East. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked in London for four years at a global engineering company before moving back to Beirut to work at a regional consultancy for two years. Gaelle holds a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut and a Master in Transport and Business Management from Imperial College London.
