Gaiv is an international development consultant with expertise in concessional finance/aid architecture and private sector and financial sector development. Gaiv worked with the World Bank for 28 years and held senior positions including as: Director, Financial and Private Sector Development in Sub-Saharan Africa; Director, Global Practice on Financial Inclusion and Infrastructure; Deputy Director of 2005 World Development Report on Investment Climate; and Manager, Resource Mobilization for the International Development Association. Since 2015, he has been providing support to, assessing and evaluating programs for regional development banks (African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank and Islamic Development Bank), the European Commission and the World Bank.
