Gandham N.V.Ramana is a Lead Health Specialist currrently based in Nairobi Kenya. He started his career as a primary care physician in Nigeria and then moved to policy research. He has been with the World Bank over a decade and involved in design and implementation of complex health projects including regional operations. Ramana has published/co-authored over 15 scientific papers and reports covering wide ranging topics. He is involved in the GAC in projects initiative and has organized regional health sector GAC trainings for government counterparts from the East Africa Region. He is currently leading the preparation of the first Program for Results Operation in the Health sector in Ethiopia and the World Bank’s health sector policy dialogue in Kenya.
