Gavin Mccosker

Deputy Chief Executive, Australian Financial Security Authority

A former International Finance Corportation (IFC) staff member, Gavin has served as a consultant to the World Bank and IFC since 2018. He also serves as the Deputy Registrar of Personal Property Securities for Australia and is an Adjunct Industry Fellow at Griffith University. Gavin has represented Australia at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) for negotiating instruments under the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters specific to Mining, Agricultural and Construction Equipment. 

Gavin holds a Masters of Business Administration, Bachelor of Laws, and Bachelor of Commerce degrees, and is a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Certified Advisory Board Chair.
