Gemma Rodon is an Analyst for the Skills Global Solutions Group (Skills GSG) and the Tertiary Education and Skills (TES) Umbrella Trust Fund at the Education Global Practice at the World Bank. Gemma is also supporting the World Bank’s global edtech team, working on the African demands for digital skills, and the development of global public good toolkits to empower countries worldwide in utilizing EdTech for resilient systems and equipping youth with future skills. Gemma holds a degree in Economics from the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF, Barcelona) and an MBA in International Management. Previously, Gemma served as an Analyst at the Economic & Trade Office of Spain in Washington, D.C., where she actively supported the Spanish private and public sectors fostering trade and partnerships with the U.S. Gemma brings experience in research and data analysis skills and entrepreneurship. Recently, she has published several reports, studies, and guides to foster cooperation between the Spanish and U.S. private sectors. Gemma is fluent in Catalan, Spanish, and English, and has a functional understanding of French.
