Georges Comair joined the Environment and Natural Resources Management Global Practice team on September 19, 2016 as a Young Professional based in Washington, DC. He is now a Senior Water Resources Specialist in the Water Global Practice, working on projects in the Philippines, Thailand, Benin and Nigeria. He holds an M.S. in environmental fluid mechanics and hydrology from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in water engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He was previously working at SUEZ (2013-2016) as an engineer/project manager. He has experience in water/wastewater network diagnostic studies, water transfers, water resources modeling, and dams. His research interests include the development of national water strategies in the Middle East to ensure the proper management of transboundary basins.
