Ghassan Al-Akwaa is an Energy Specialist in the Energy & Extractives Global Practice where he currently covers Bank-financed projects in Iraq and Yemen. Prior to joining the World Bank, Ghassan worked as an energy analyst in the Arab Petroleum Investments Corporations and Saudi Aramco. Ghassan hold an MA in International Energy Studies from SciencesPo Paris and a BA in business economics from Canada.
