Ghizlane Aqariden is a Disaster Risk Management Consultant at the World Bank. Since 2016, she has contributed to the Urban, Disaster Risk Management, Resilience, and Land Global Practice (GPURL) through her work with the Middle East and North Africa DRM and Resilience team supporting activities in Algeria, Djibouti, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen. Ghizlane is also a communications consultant at the Disaster-Fragility, Conflict and Violence Thematic Area at the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR).
