Giorgio Presidente is a postdoctoral researcher at the Oxford Martin School, Oxford University since 2020. Previously, he worked as a consultant for the World Bank and in 2015, he participated in the Young Professional Program at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. He completed his Ph.D. in 2016 at Paris School of Economics. His main research interest is the interplay between legal institutions and technological change, with a focus on automation. He also work on topics related to firm-level resource reallocation, productivity and the impact of policy on economic development.
