Giovani William Gianetti is a Researcher at the Group of Public Policies (Grupo de Políticas Públicas – GPP) of the Escola Superior de Agricultura “Luiz de Queiroz” — ESALQ, University of São Paulo — USP, Brazil. He holds a doctorate in Applied Economics from the ESALQ/USP. His work and research are mainly focused on rural, environmental, and natural resources economics, with emphasis on computable general equilibrium modeling, low-carbon agriculture, land use change, sustainable production systems, family farming, and rural credit. He received the Ken Pearson Award from the Centre of Policy Studies, Victoria University, at the 26th Annual Conference on Global Economic Analysis.
