Girma Woldetsadik is a senior education specialist in the World Bank’s Education Global Practice, based in Lusaka, Zambia. He currently leads lending operations in education, including Zambia Education Enhancement Project as a task team leader and Zambia Enhancing Early Learning Project as a co-task team leader. Girma has also worked on other projects, including the General Education Quality Improvement Program in Ethiopia and East Africa Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project (EASTRIP). His work experience ranges across all sectors, including early childhood education, general education, skills and higher education. Girma holds an MSc in Human Resources Development from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and a BA in Economics from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
