Gisela is an Urban Development and Gender consultant working in the Urban, Disaster Risk Management, Resilience and Land Global Practice at the World Bank. Gisela specializes in the design and implementation of urban and housing policies and programs with a particular emphasis on the inclusion of underserved minorities. She is currently working in the Latin America and Caribbean Region in projects related to housing, public spaces, urban and territorial development. Most recently, her work has also focused on how to effectively address gender gaps in housing and urban development interventions.
