Gisele has been working with the International Finance Corporation for over 15 years focused on emerging market private sector debt and equity sustainable finance solutions, where climate change and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) are at the forefront of their finance and advisory strategic approach. She has worked in climate change, mobilizing syndicated debt solutions, infrastructure finance, and public-private partnership (PPP) advisory services.
She is leading climate change efforts as Global Climate Head for PPP Advisory and Infrastructure, and also more recently as climate advisor to IFC’s new cross cutting VP, part of the IFC global management team. As part of IFC’s Global Infrastructure department she has delivered results in portfolio management and new business both globally and regionally in Latin America and the Caribbean. In PPP Advisory services she works with public-sector clients to structure PPPs to crowd in private sector investors across infrastructure sectors and beyond embedding climate change solutions for both mitigation of GHGs and building resilience.
