Giulia Motolese joined the GIF in August 2018 through the World Bank Group’s Analyst Program after four years of experience in developing infrastructure policy and projects in the public and private sector. Before the GIF, she worked for the World Bank’s Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF), focusing on creating the enabling environments for private sector investment in infrastructure and developing knowledge products on PPP frameworks, urban mobility, and energy sector reforms.
Before joining the World Bank, Giulia served as a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton to develop utility-scale renewable energy projects, and at the Confederation of British Industries and the EU Delegation to the United States, supporting renewable energy, consumer regulations, and financial sector policy analysis. Giulia holds a Master’s degree in International Economics, Energy, Resources and Environment from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Economics from the University of Bath.
