Godfrey Sama is medical doctor and a public health specialist from Tanzania. Godfrey worked as a member of the International Federation of Medical Students Association (IFMSA) Small Working Group on Global Surgery and later as a co-coordinator of the group. He is a founding member of the International Student Surgical Network (InciSioN). He worked as a data collector for the World Developmental Indication (WDI Project) He is now a Board of Trustee Member of the InciSioN. He also works as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Muhimbili University of health and allied sciences (MUHAS), University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Cancer Collaboration (MUHAS-UCSF Cancer Collaboration). Godfrey has interests in Global Surgery, Global health and Public health in the attainment of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
