Gonzalo G. Goizueta helps corporations to engage in nature conservation and to create business models capable of protecting and rehabilitating nature’s ecosystems. In the World Bank, he supports the Nature-based Solutions team as a consultant, mainly in projects related to coastal ecosystems and the private sector. He studied both in Spain and France, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in International Business with Marketing and Finance from ICADE (Universidad Pontificia Comillas). He also holds a MSc in Environmental Resource Management specialized in ecosystem services and biodiversity from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He has worked in diverse international projects in Spain, France, Mexico, USA, Kenya, and Seychelles, helping both the private and public sectors to seize the opportunities and mitigate the risks posed by climate change and other environmental sustainability issues.
