Gonzalo Nunez-Chaim is an Economist in the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity Global Practice working in the East Africa region. He is passionate about generating evidence to inform policies aimed at improving welfare conditions. Gonzalo has vast experience with impact evaluations, survey design and data collection, poverty measurement and analysis. He has worked as a Research Economist with the London School of Economics (LSE), as well as a consultant for IFAD, UNICEF and Oxford Policy Management. Gonzalo holds a Masters in International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School.
