Greta Granados de Orbegoso is a social development analyst, working for the World Bank in the Latin American region. She has experience in international development and humanitarian efforts, including migration and forced displacement, post-disaster crisis management and emergency response. Greta joined the Bank in 2017 and has played a key role in the development of qualitative products, participatory systems, and the design of communication strategies for social cohesion and against gender-based violence projects. Also, she conducts high-level policy dialogues with Governments and development partners in Latin America (Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador).
Prior to joining the Bank, Greta worked at the International Federation of the Red Cross in different leadership positions in communication, liaison, and community engagement and accountability.
