Greta Davis, MD, is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery resident based in San Francisco, California, and a current Perioperative Health Equity Fellow at the UCSF Center for Health Equity in Surgery and Anesthesia (CHESA). Her academic interests lie in global health monitoring and developing data ecosystems in low-income settings, with an emphasis on strengthening surgical systems and improving access to surgical care.
Greta has research experience in data simulation techniques aimed at reducing the burden of data collection at the national level. She has contributed to measuring global progress in surgical volume reporting to inform the World Bank’s surgical indicator data collection project, enhancing the global understanding of access to surgery and perioperative outcomes.
