Guido is a development practitioner with 20 years of experience at the international level, and 15 of those years at the World Bank. He has a Ph.D. in Engineering. Guido served the institution in urban development and corporate roles, including at the Agile Bank Program. He is currently serving IFC, contributing to the Building Resilience Index (BRI), a hazard -mapping and resilience assessment framework for the construction industry. Prior to joining the World Bank, Guido worked with the Aga Khan Foundation, the United Nations, and Carnegie Mellon University, among other institutions.
