Guillaume is currently a Strategy Officer with the Social Protection & Jobs Global Practice at the World Bank, where he supports operations and analytical work on livelihood support, financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and value chains in Africa. He started his Bank career with Development Finance (DFi) where he contributed to two IDA replenishments and led research on the global aid architecture. Prior to joining the Bank, he held management positions with various NGOs and research institutes, including TechnoServe in Ghana, Evidence Action in Kenya, and the Center for Effective Global Action at UC Berkeley. He also worked with the UN Economic and Social Council, Innovations for Poverty Action, Trickle Up, and the Belgium Embassy to the US. Guillaume holds master’s degrees in international development from New York University and in business administration from the University of Liege.
