Gustavo Zanabria is part of the Doing Business team. Currently, he works on the Trading Across Borders indicator. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Mr. Zanabria worked at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) where he focused in the areas of Regulatory Policy and Digital Government. Before that, he worked at the World Bank Group with the Subnational Doing Business team and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru where he was specialist in Trade Facilitation, Customs, Competition, and International Regulatory affairs. Mr. Zanabria holds a Master of Arts in Economics and also a Master in Public Administration (MPA) from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the Pacific (Lima, Peru). He speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
