Ha Nguyen is an Economist at the IMF’s Institute of Capacity Development. Before that, he was a Senior Economist at the World Bank's Chief Economist Office for the Middle East and North Africa region. His research interests are international macroeconomics and development economics. His studies have been published in Journal of International Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking and other peer-reviewed journals. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Maryland, College Park.
