Hana Addam El-Ghali is currently a Senior Educational Specialist (ETC) in the Education Global Practice in the Middle East and Northern Africa Region at the World Bank. She currently supports the education programs in Lebanon and Iraq. In the past, she worked as the Program Director for the program on Education and Youth Policy Research at the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs at the at the American University of Beirut, and taught courses at the University's Department of Education. In 2013, she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to the University of Georgia. She holds a doctorate in Social and Comparative Analysis in Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
