Hana Sahatqija is the Program Manager for UNICEF’s Innovations Lab in Kosovo. She is currently supporting the Adolescent Development and Participation section of UNICEF at HQ. Her expertise lies at the nexus of innovation, civic engagement, skills, and employability of youth. She joined the UNICEF team in 2015, prior to which she worked at the World Bank, UNDP, and consulted for bilaterals and NGOs on social development issues and impact evaluations. Hana has a Master’s degree in International Development Policy from Georgetown University and an Advanced Project Management degree from Stanford University. She is an avid supporter of the use of technology and social entrepreneurship to develop solutions to social challenges and dedicates most of her free time to figuring out new processes and programmes to promote youth development.
