Private Sector Specialist with the Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Global Practice of the World Bank Group

Hania Kronfol is a Private Sector Specialist with the Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Global Practice of the World Bank Group. Since joining the Investment and Competition Unit in 2012, Ms. Kronfol has been providing technical assistance to support client governments implement legal, regulatory and policy reforms to grow, retain and benefit from private sector investment. Her areas of focus include investment climate, investment attraction and incentives, subnational policy reforms, and fragile countries.  Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Ms. Kronfol was a strategy consultant at Good Harbor International, a UAE-based private provider of policy and strategic risk advisory services to government stakeholders.  In previous positions, Ms. Kronfol analyzed international development issues at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the Brookings Institution. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.
