Hannah George is a Senior Communications Officer in the Global Practices Communications department, External and Corporate Relations (ECR). She currently leads the Open Development and Access to Information (AI) team focusing on policy implementation, communications outreach, relationship management and capacity building. She works with internal and external partners and stakeholders to leverage the World Bank's efforts on transparency and Access to Information issues. Hannah’s experience also includes working in various capacities on research and operational issues with the Africa region, the Data group, Cofinancing and Trust Funds, and Investment Lending.
