Helena Goetsch is a spatial planner by training and worked for three years in the World Bank South Asia Transport Unit at the intersection of urban, regional and transport planning. She led the Unit’s geospatial mapping agenda and contributed to urban and rural transport projects throughout the South Asia Region, as well as in Serbia. Working for the World Bank, Helena was based at the organizations headquarters in Washington DC. Prior to working at the Bank, she lived and worked in Vienna, Amsterdam, Bolzano and Luxembourg. Currently Helena independently explores urban and regional transport and planning practices around the globe.
