Henk Jan Reinders is a Financial Sector Economist in the World Bank Group’s Finance, Competitiveness & Innovation Global Practice. Henk Jan focuses on strategic scenario analysis, including stress testing, and is a technical lead on climate-related financial risks. Previously he was at the Dutch Central Bank where he led the bank’s assessment of flood risks in the Netherlands and was involved in designing the country’s carbon tax for industry. Henk Jan holds master’s degrees in engineering and in economics (cum laude) and is pursuing his PhD in sustainable finance at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
