Hera Susanti is a consultant under the Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment (MTI) Global Practice and also gender specialist supporting the study on gender mainstreaming in Indonesia’s mining industry. She is an active lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia and a researcher at the Institute for Economics and Social Research, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia. Hera Susanti completed her Master of Science in Policy Economics from University of Illinois, at Urbana-Champaign, USA, majoring in Urban and Regional Economics, and received her doctoral degree from Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia. Her main interests are Regional Economics and Economic Development-related Issues, including gender and human capital.
