Ms. Jain is a Senior Social Protection Specialist in the World Bank’s Social Protection & Jobs team in the Europe & Central Asia region. She has led pension reform, financing, and administration discussions in over twenty countries across multiple regions including Europe & Central Asia, South and East Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Currently she focuses on the World Bank’s social protection dialogue with countries in Western Balkans and Caucasus which face rapid aging and other structural challenges like migration, and the changing nature of work with immediate consequences on their social systems, not only pensions but also health and long-term care. She has led work on advancing the aging and longevity agenda, and in expanding social insurance coverage to the informal sector. Before joining the Bank, she worked with Deloitte Consulting. Ms. Jain holds a master’s in public policy from Duke University, a master's in quantitative economics from the Indian Statistical Institute and is a member of professional actuarial societies in India and the U.S.
