Himmat Singh Sandhu is a Digital Development Specialist with the World Bank’s Digital Development global practice. He advises governments on designing and implementing strategies to expand broadband access to all and invest in the foundations of their digital economies. He works with governments in the Europe and Central Asia and Latin America and Caribbean regions.
Prior to the World bank, Himmat worked as a management consultant for the telecommunications sector advising clients in India and Sub-Saharan Africa. He has a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications engineering, and master’s degrees in business administration and international economics.
