Holly Dagres is an Iranian-American analyst and commentator on Middle East affairs who grew up in both Los Angeles and Tehran, but currently residing in Cairo, Egypt. She is a assistant editor at the policy journal, the Cairo Review of Global Affairs.
Her writings have appeared in Al Jazeera, Al-Monitor, Foreign Policy, the Huffington Post, VOA, Muftah, Your Middle East as well as many others. She has done commentary for BBC Radio, The Stream, HuffPost Live, RFL, The Young Turks, as well as other shows
Dagres holds a master's in International Relations (American University in Cairo), and an undergraduate degree in Political Science and French (UCLA).
