Hualong Diao is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Stony Brook University and a short-term consultant for the Chief Economist Office for the Infrastructure Vice-Presidency at the World Bank.
Her research spans the economics of critical developmental issues, including health, labor markets, digital development, and cybersecurity risks and resilience. By analyzing large cyber incident databases and addressing broader developmental challenges, she aims to provide insights that inform policy and drive improved economic outcomes.
