Ibrahim Dajani is the Practice Manager for Transport Global Practice for the Middle East and North Africa Region. His key duties include (i) provide strategic leadership to MNA’s Transport program, (ii) promote effective solutions through close collaboration and leveraging of global knowledge and World Bank Group synergies, and (iii) manage, support and motivate staff for professional excellence as well as strong results. Mr. Dajani has over 25 years of experience in infrastructure planning, reconstruction and development including transport, municipal, cultural heritage, solid waste management and job creation programs especially in fragile states and middle-income countries in the Middle East and North Africa Region. Prior to his PM’s position, Mr. Dajani held the position of Lead Infrastructure Specialist and Program Leader for Infrastructure for the Mashreq Countries (Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria) from November 2016 till July 2021. Mr. Dajani holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with focus on Transport and Environment Engineering from California State University Long Beach earned in 1993
