Ibrahima Sarr is an economist at the UNHCR Regional Bureau in Nairobi. He holds Masters in Applied Mathematics, and Statistics and Economics and he is finishing his Ph.D. in Economics at Université de Laval. He is a former World Bank-UNHCR fellow on forced displacement. His research covers topics in development economics, behavioral and experimental economics, and welfare analysis. He is currently working on topics related to optimal targeting methods, multidimensional poverty measurement, intra-household allocation, and individual poverty in forcibly displaced settings.
