Ignacio Sánchez D’Ocon holds the transport consultant position in the World Bank’s Transport Global Practice in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he is working on several projects that will lead to a sustainable growth of the communities in the region. He has previously worked as a transport consultant in Lima, Peru and has external experience as a transport and logistics engineer in Spain. He strongly believes that transportation plays a major role in regional development and social inclusion.
Ignacio holds a Civil Engineering Degree from Universitat Politècnica de València and a Masters Double Degree in Civil Engineering from École des Ponts ParisTech (major on Transportation and Environment) and Universitat Politècnica de València. He has also completed the Certificate in International Management program from École des Ponts Business School.
