Mr. de Jong is a Lead Water Resources Specialist working for the World Bank and based in India. Since joining the Bank in 2000, he has held various positions of increasing responsibility in the Africa, Central Asia and South Asia regions. Since 2013, Mr. de Jong has taken up a field assignment, first based in the Almaty regional office, and since 2016 in the New Delhi country office. Mr. de Jong has been responsible for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of projects in the field of water resources management and irrigation. He has a focus on improving the financial viability and quality of water service delivery to customers.
