Immaculate Nafula Machasio is an Economist Consultant in the Jobs Global Practice of the World Bank Group- (HSPJB).
Prior to joining the World Bank, Immaculate was a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Justus Liebig University-Giessen, Germany. She has also accumulated a great wealth of experience after serving in various capacities within the Kenyan financial services industry.
Immaculate holds a PhD from Justus Liebig University-Giessen, Germany. She studied Monetary Economics and her research interests include: International Migration, Development Economics, International Finance, Monetary Policy, Macroeconomics, Financial Inclusion and Applied Econometrics. She pursued her undergraduate degree (B.Comm) at Kenyatta University in Kenya and holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Investments from The University of Nairobi.
In addition to being an economist, Immaculate is a singer, poet and an athlete.
