Ines Gonzalez del Mazo is a Financial Sector Analyst at the Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation Global Practice of the World Bank Group (WBG). She works on government advisory in the financial sector, especially covering banks and capital markets regulations, and on FinTech initiatives. She also contributes to the participation of WBG Senior Management in the Financial Stability Board and has trained central bank supervisors in balance sheet credit/risk analysis and financial modeling. Previously, Ines worked at the European Union Department of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Brussels and at the International Trade Centre, a United Nations and World Trade Organization joint agency headquartered in Geneva. Ines is a CFA Level III candidate, holds a Master in International Business from the Spanish Institute of External Trade and a Bachelors degree in Business from Universidad San Pablo-CEU.
