Isabel Cantada joined the World Bank in the Philippines in 2011 and worked as a research analyst for the Sustainable Development Department. She assisted the urban team in a number of lending operations for municipal and urban infrastructure, as well as some technical assistance projects in land use planning, local economic development, slum upgrading, housing, urban transport and knowledge management. Isabel is currently working this summer as an urban planning analyst for the South Asia Urban Unit in Washington, D.C. on public spaces, affordable housing and GIS spatial analysis. She holds a B.A. in Economics (Honors Program) from Ateneo de Manila University and is a candidate for a Master in Urban Planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
