Ishan Khokar is a Program Officer - Infrastructure Specialist in the Infrastructure Finance, PPPs & Guarantees (IPG) Unit of the World Bank in Washington DC. He supports program management and strategy for the Quality Infrastructure Investment (QII) Partnership and leads QII’s projects from clean energy, sustainable transport and digital transformation sectors. Ishan has supported various lending and advisory operations in the World Bank’s South Asia Energy and Extractives Unit and at ESMAP. He brings a decade of policy, business development, and investment management experience in the private energy sector of India, South Asia and Africa. Ishan holds a masters degree in Energy Policy and Infrastructure Finance from The Fletcher School, USA and a Mechanical and Energy Engineering degree from VIT University, India.
